Terry Miracle, 59, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
He was born April 2, 1951, in Greenfield, the son of the late Burchell Lee and Elizabeth (Cox) Miracle.
He had retired from CSX as a track inspector after more than 31 years of service.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan, and was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 29, Elaine (Brown) Miracle, whom he married on June 13, 1981 in Leesburg. He is also survived by three children, Allison Vickers and her husband, Jeff, of Hillsboro, Shane Smith and his wife, Lorrie, of Leesburg and Brad Miracle and his wife, Jodell, of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, Blaine Vickers, Madison Miracle, Vaiden Miracle, Kourtnie Smith, Justin Smith, Lynsey Smith and Chance Smith; a sister, Patricia Winebrenner, of Pomeroy; his mother-in-law, Ramona Kimble, of Greenfield; as well as two nieces, Krystal and Kim; and a nephew, Kelly.
Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg. Pastor Ken Burchett will officiate. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg.
