Tammy Throckmorton, 50, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday evening, March 30, 2010 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Greenfield.
She was born March 25, 1960 in Covington, Ky., the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie Smith Cawood.
She is survived by two children, Tammy Ventura of Virginia and Joshua Perkins of Colorado; three sisters, Nancy Ledford of Morning View, Ky., Cheryl Bobbitt of Galveston, Ky., and Peggy Brinker of Lynchburg; five brothers, George Alan Cawood of Cawood, Ky., Milburn Cawood of Independence, Ky., Jeff Cawood of Mason, Ohio, Dale Cawood of Madison, Fla., and Chad Cawood of Lynchburg; and her best friend, Hershel Tuggle of Hillsboro.
Services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Chad Mullins will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m.  Friday at the Cawood Family Cemetery in Harlan, Kentucky. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
