Susan Lynn Ison
Susan Lynn Ison, 58, of Bainbridge, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Sinking Spring on Feb. 5, 1954, the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary (Gustin) Hopkins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Hopkins, Jr.; and one sister, Esther Hopkins.
She was a member of the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church and Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161 Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas Ison, to whom she was married on Sept. 5, 1999; one stepson, Jeremy Ison; two stepdaughters, Daniele Vaness and Bethany Ison; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Williamson of Sinking Spring, Betty and David Wise of Hillsboro, Verda Bosier of Hillsboro, Mary and Earl Mahaffey of Hillsboro, Trudy and Jim Hodge of Rainsboro; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday June 5 at Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Greg Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
