Stella L. Morris, 61, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at the Pike Community Hospital.

She was born at Springfield on July 28, 1950, the daughter of the late Lloyd Morris and Hazel (McCoy) Morris.

Besides her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Tresa Oren of Springfield; three sons, Mike Scott of Peebles, Bruce Ergle of Washington C.H. and Gary Ergle of Washington C.H.; six brothers, James D., Robert E., Terry L., Richard A., Roger Dale and Thomas L. Morris; three sisters, Judy A. Knisley of Nipgen, Debra Kay White of Waverly and Catherine Kaster of Urbana; nine grandchildren, David and Dustin Mingee, Michael, Thomas, Lindsey and Samantha Scott and Ryan, Nicole and Clayton Ergle; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from noon till time of service at 2 p.m. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
