Sandra Kay Buskirk, 59, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born in Dayton on May 20, 1953, the daughter of the late Bobby Vernon and Pauline H. (Hopson) DeBusk.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bernard “Skip” Buskirk, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Robert Eddie Collier Jr. of Hillsboro; one daughter, Mary Kay Collier of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, James Ray (Donna) DeBusk of Hillsboro and Robert Vernon (Sandy) DeBusk of Hillsboro; one sister, Patricia Lynn (Micky) Wardlow of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Kate-Lynn Autumn Collier, Joshua Allen Collier, Ragan Swisshelm and Kennedy Swisshelm.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
