S. Wayne Rowe, 44, of Waynesburg, Ky., formerly of Butler County, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at his residence.

He was born Monday, Oct. 20, 1969 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Boyd Wayne & Linda Wingate Rowe of Waynesburg, Ky.

S. Wayne worked as an electrician; loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys; and was a big NASCAR fan, especially #88 Dale Jr.

In addition to his parents, S. Wayne leaves behind three sons, Adam Joseph McDonald of Louisville, Ky. and Daman Kenneth Wile and Michael Wayne Rowe, both of Waynesburg, Ky.; one daughter, Brandi of Ohio; two sisters, Lori Brummett (Gary) of Crab Orchard, Ky. and Tina Blevins of Kings Mountain, Ky.; and a paternal grandmother, Lorene Rowe of West Chester, Ohio.

Honoring S. Wayne’s wishes, cremation rites have been honored. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg, Ky. with Bro. Brad King officiating the service. The visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to The ALS Association Kentucky Chapter, 2815 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, Ky. 41017.

Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home, Waynesburg, Ky., is entrusted with S. Wayne’s arrangements.
