Ruth M. Willer, 83, of Hillsboro died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born June 21, 1928 in St. Bernard, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Meyer Speed.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.

She is survived by six children, Michael (Joni) Willer of Hillsboro, Carol Jean (James) Fisher of Clarksville, Linda (Michael) Walker of Withamsville, Penny Ann (Earl) Place of Grove City, Tammy Min Peabody of Hillsboro and Patricia Bailey of Mason; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Speed of Cincinnati and John Speed of Ripley; and one sister, Eileen Fiebig of Maineville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Willer, on Dec. 25, 1995; one son, David Honnigford; one son-in-law, James Peabody; two brothers, Thomas and Melvin Speed; and one sister-in-law, Esther Ann Willer.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday June 16 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. John Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Memorials may be made to the Highland County Senior Citizens, 185 Muntz Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
