Ruth Anna Adams, 83, of Hillsboro died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at her home.
She was born July 9, 1928 in Xenia, the daughter of the late Samuel and Ardella Houston Williams.
Mrs. Adams was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Richard A. (Shirley) Adams of Clearview, Fla., Eddie Adams of Hillsboro, and Rickie (Patsy) Adams of Hillsboro; two daughters, Sheila (Jeff) Sloan of Sidney and Brenda (John) Wright of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Adams on July 27, 1991; two daughters, Nancy Taulbee and Cathy Watters; and two sisters, Mary Fleming and Dorothy Heathcook.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Gene Dietz will officiate. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
