Roy Michael Munyan, 62, of Greenfield, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1949, the son of Roy and Elizabeth (Cherryholmes) Munyan.
Mr. Munyan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired May 28, 2011, from Greenfield Research Inc. and was previously employed at Collins Meat Packing of Greenfield.
He is survived by three brothers, Randy (Laura) Munyan of South Salem, Jim Munyan of Greenfield and Rob Munyan of Columbus; three sisters, Sherry Highley of Greenfield, Dianna (Tom) Henson of Leesburg and Susan Munyan of Leesburg; stepmother, Joanne Shrout of Leesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Arney; one brother; Larry Munyan; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
