Rosie E. Carver Meredith, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at Hearth and Care Rehabilitation and Nursing of Greenfield.
She was born on May 20, 1932 in Auxier, Ky., the daughter of Leonard and Maggie (McCoy) Goble.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Meredith of Greenfield; five daughters, Alice (Ricky) Daugherty of Hillsboro, Karen Cooper of Greenfield, Vivica (Randy) Williams of Hillsboro, Krystal (Danny) Pryor of Chillicothe and Tammy Carver of Hillsboro; two sons, George Carver of Greenfield and Virgil (Patty) Carver of Washington C.H.; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Rick) Jester of Washington C.H. and Mary Wilson of Washington C.H.; one brother, Danny (Tresa) Goble of Leesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Carver; two sons, Christopher John and David Anthony Carver; one grandson, Ricky Whaley; one granddaughter, Georgena Carver; one sister, Helen Warner; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Randy Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon Thursday until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses, c/o the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
