Roseann Wilson, 90, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Hearth and Care Rehabilitation and Nursing of Greenfield.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1922 in Greenfield, the daughter of Robert Arnott and Elizabeth (Pommert) Wilson.

She was a former employee of Wilknit Hosiery Company, receptionist for Dr. Patrick McKibben, an admitting clerk for Greenfield Municipal Hospital, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield and a 1940 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.

“Posie," although stricken with polio at a young age, never let her affliction determine her fate. She loved to travel and entertain and worked full-time until her retirement. She particularly loved living on the Wilson family farm. Her cheerful outlook and keen enjoyment of living were an inspiration to all that knew her.

She is survived by one niece, Beth A. (Jay) Hardy of Greenfield; one nephew, James R. Wilson of Greenfield; and great nephews, Will Hardy and Matt Wilson.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Ned Wilson and both parents.

A special thank you to Hearth and Care Rehabilitation and Nursing, nurses from Hospice of Hope and Dr. Richard Mizer.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Y-Gradale, P.O. Box 381, Greenfield, Ohio 45123 or the First Presbyterian Church, 457 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
