Robert Rowland, 61, of Cherry Fork, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.
He was born in Dover, Ohio on July 23, 1950 the son of the late John and Leona (Hurley) Rowland.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Manchester.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (Centers) Rowland of Cherry Fork, two daughters; Tanya and Steve Richendollar of Cherry Fork and Robin Rowland of Cherry Fork, one brother; Jeff Rowland of Manchester, one sister; Darlene Rowland of Little Rock, Arkansas, four grandchildren, and best friend Elbert England of Cherry Fork.
Cremation is to take place with memorial services to be announced at a later date. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
