Robert Lewis "Bob" Storer, 74, of Hillsboro (Belfast community), died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at his residence.

He was born July 16, 1937 in Peebles, the of the late Francis Elvis and Evaline (Turner) Storer.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Don Storer; and one sister, Lillian Burk.

He retired from McFarland Ford in Peebles after many years as an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lorene (Creech) Storer; four sons, Robert, Jr., Gary and Kevin Storer all of Peebles, and Brad Storer of Hillsboro; one daughter, Jennifer Edwards of Hillsboro; two step-sons, Tim Pugh of Arkansas and Anthony Pugh of Hillsboro; one step-daughter, Amy Lynch of Blanchester; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Phillip, Berlin and Floyd Storer all of Peebles; three sisters, Virginia Balzhiser of Milford, Joy Thatcher of Peebles and Elizabeth Armstrong of Washington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

The Rev. Gary Brown will officiate, with burial to follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday from noon-2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
