Robert "Bob" Noble, 66, of New Vienna, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
He was born in Hazard County, Ky. on Nov. 28, 1944, the son of the late Gordon and Cora Noble.
He was a U.S. veteran, having served with the National Guard, and he loved the outdoors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Nick Antimore; three brothers, Nathan, Ronnie and Gordon Noble; and one sister, Ruth Powell.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Noble of Hillsboro and Nathan (Angie) Noble of Lebanon; two daughters, Cora Ruth (Jerry) Purdom of New Vienna and Shelly (David) Feltner of Middletown; six grandchildren, Vincent Antimore, Anthony Antimore, Brittany Antimore, Gracie Mae Noble, Brany Noble, and Christopher Eldridge; and a special friend, Linda Tye of Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Matt Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call Wednesday from noon till time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
