Richard Pearson, 77, of Hillsboro died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.

He was born July 30, 1934 in Jackson County, Ky., the son of the late John and Amey Isaacs Pearson.

Mr. Pearson had worked for over 45 for the Miami Valley Paper Company.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Pearson; two sons, Richard Dors Pearson and David Scott Pearson both of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Matthew Eugene Pearson and Mark Jarnigan; two brothers, Willie Wilson of Ohio and Boyd Pearson of Kentucky; and two sisters, Frieda Carl of Kentucky and Catherine Powell of Franklin, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harril Pearson and Mason Pearson.

Mr. Pearson’s request was that he be cremated and no service be held. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc.
