Richard Evans Temple, 61, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at the U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born at New Market, on April 29, 1950, the son of the late William E. Temple and Helen M. (Holladay) Temple of Leesburg.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah L. (Ralph) Temple on February 12, 2008.
He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and had retired after 31 years of service at the Hobart Corporation in Hillsboro.
He is survived by his mother, Helen M. (Holladay) Temple of Leesburg; daughter, Karen Temple of Hillsboro; three brothers, William Temple of Wilmington, Dennis Temple of Xenia and Brian Temple of Leesburg; two nieces, Julie Twine of Wilmington and Ariel Hague of Centerville; three nephews, Todd Temple of Morrow, David Temple of Middletown and Daniel Temple of Xenia; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
