Ralph E. "Bud" Roush, 80, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Oct. 27, 1931 in Highland County, the son of the late Ralph E. Roush and Mildred Elizabeth Smith Roush.
He was a member of the Union Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Roush, whom he married Feb. 18, 1951; and three daughters, Susan Gay (Mike) Young of Sardinia, Pamela Joy (Rick) Murray of Columbus and Andrea Jean (Jim) Bush of Hillsboro. Also surviving are a sister, Jane Dickey of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Mary Fawley of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Aaron) Fitch, Shawn (Leslie) Young, James (Brandi) Murray, Bethany (Jason) Gilliland, Jordan Murray, Katie (Vince) Rapp, Jess (Mark) Graham and Gideon (Jen) Bush; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Gebhardt and Betty Jo Vance.
Services will be held at the Union Church of Christ, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Pastors Andrew Johnson and Aaron Fitch officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the church Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 from 5-8 p.m.
