Rachel Marlene Williams, 71, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at her home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1941 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Marvin and Geraldine Powell Clemons.
She is survived by one daughter, Joy Marlene Williams of Dayton; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Williams and Herbert Isaiah Jennings of Dayton; four great-grandchildren; one niece, Cheryl Bell of Dayton; two nephews, Paul Turner of Dayton and Thomas Turner of Xenia; a special cousin, Tyrone Lawrence of Dayton; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Williams, in 2005; one sister, Mary J. Crawford; grandmother, Rachael Powell; aunt, Mary F. Lawrence; and two uncles, Robert and John Jackson.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 25 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Patty Burns will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
