Phyllis Jean Kelley, 75, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born in Adams County, on Aug. 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Harry and Hettie (Simmons) Campton.

She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and had retired from the Bright Local Schools after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Kelley, whom she married on July 10, 1955; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Lisa Kelley of Hillsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tom Dance of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Melanie (Chris) Foxx of Hillsboro, Lee (Lisa Fox) Kelley of Hillsboro, Shawn (Brittane Burgess) Dance of Hillsboro, and Kelli A. (Randy Cooper) Kelley of Washington, C.H.; and one great-granddaughter, Brianna Foxx.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 at the Prospect Cemetery under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation.
