Phyllis I. Masters, 85, of Bainbridge, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born at Oliver Hill, Ky., on Nov. 23, 1925, the daughter of the late James and Julie (Humphries) Ingles.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Ingles, Eddie Ingles; one half-brother, Boone Parrish; and two half-sisters, Mamie Waulk and Iva Evans.
She was baptized into the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Omer Masters, whom she married on April 15, 1949; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be held on Monday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
