Paul Victor “Vic” Lucas, 73, of Washington C.H., passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on July 25, 1939 in Highland County, the son of Paul H. and Hilda (Mercer) Lucas.
He was formerly owner/operator of Kenworthy Seed Company of Greenfield, the Ohio State Fair Manager and Vice President of Special Events for McDonald's Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Leaming) Palmer Lucas, whom he married on Nov. 19, 1991; four daughters, Krista (Colin) Kelley of Chillicothe, Kathy (Charles) Nutter of Columbus, Kay (Richard) Frey of Lancaster, Pa. and Kelley (Ted) Hanlon of Barnesville; 13 grandchildren, Jarret (Jamie) Kelley of Circleville, Jessica (T.J.) Oliver of Chillicothe, Christopher (Alessa) Nutter of Singapore and Lucas Nutter of Columbus; Jennifer Nutter of Columbus; Kendal, Chad, Reed and Logan Frey, all of Lancaster, Pa., Gage, Lane, Avery and Regan Hanlon, all of Barnesville; mother, Hilda Lucas of Greenfield; two brothers, Richard (Peggy) Lucas and Franklin (Jan) Lucas, both of Greenfield; one sister, Phyllis Garrison of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews; former wife, Nancy Vandemark Wilson of Barnesville; one stepdaughter, Cynthia (David) Collins of Washington C.H.; one stepson, Michael Palmer of Gallipolis; and two step-grandchildren, Jerad and Emily Matthews, both of Bloomingburg.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Wagner; and father, Paul H. Lucas.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
