Patricia Lou “Patty” Cordy, 42, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
She was born Aug. 4, 1970 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Marty R. and Ella M. Anderson Williams, Sr. of Hillsboro.
Ms. Cordy had been a police officer, serving Wilmington and New Vienna. She had also worked for Magee’s and Prime Cut Restaurants in Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four sons, Rodney, Brandon and Joshua Cordy of Hillsboro and Brian Cordy of South Salem; four sisters, Rose Marie (Todd Keech) Marshall of Hillsboro, Cindy (Elvie) Toppings of South Salem, Laurie (Lonnie) Adkins of Greenfield and Rachel (John) Kendall of Frankfort; one brother, Marty R. (Jennifer) Williams, Jr. of Leesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro. Pastor James Slaughter will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro.
