Orville Rodney Weyrich, Sr., 87, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at the Hospice of the Valley-Sherman Home in Phoenix, Ariz.

He was born May 10, 1927 in Dayton, the son of the late Elmer Philip and Margaret Royce Buvinger Weyrich.

Mr. Weyrich had owned and operated the BeeLine Moving and Storage Company for over 50 years. He was a graduate of Fairmont North High School in Dayton, received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his master's of business from The Ohio State University. He was a longtime member of the Mystic Lodge 405 F&AM of Dayton and was presently a member of Highland Lodge #38 F&AM of Hillsboro.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mary Easton Weyrich, whom he had married on Aug. 28, 1949; three children, Dr. Orville Rodney (Tam) Weyrich Jr. of Scottsdale, Carol Drummond of Hillsboro and Philip John (Carleta) Weyrich of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Thomas Deam of Urbana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Sarah B. Weyrich and Kathleen Deam; and son-in-law, Steve Drummond.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Hillsboro. Rev. Judi Wiley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Masonic Services will be held at the Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held in Lacy Hall from noon until 1 p.m. on Sunday prior to services. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
