Norris H. Gossett, 94, of Hillsboro, formerly of the Pricetown community, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.

He was born May 13, 1918 in Pricetown, the son of the late Dwight and Lena Hess Gossett.

Mr. Gossett was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ where he had served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

He is survived by one daughter, LuAnn (Mike) Teeters of Hillsboro; one granddaughter, Erin Teeters of Hillsboro; one brother, Donald Gossett of Hillsboro; two nephews, Joe Gossett of Hillsboro and Danny (Wanda) Gossett of Xenia; and one niece, Sheila (John) Botti of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ruby Dorton Gossett; his second wife, Marianna Williams Gossett on July 25, 1999; one brother, Robert O. Gossett; and one sister-in-law, Vivian Gossett.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ.
