Norma Jean (Ridgeway) Davis, 86, passed away on Tuesday, Aug 2, 2011 at Pike Community Hospital in Waverly.
She was born March 23, 1925 to the late Joseph and Lucille (Dixon) Ridgeway.
She was formerly employed by Wilknet Hosiery in Greenfield and retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory in Greenfield after over 30 years of service.
She was the beloved mother of Vicki Davis Darter (Tom Hatch) and Debbie (John) Usrey; cherished grandmother "Grams" of Danielle (Brian) Mayer, Nyssa Darter, Bradley Darter and Laura Beth Usrey and great-grandmother of Owen Mayer; dear sister of Carol (Freddie) Snyder, Dane (Loretta) Ridgeway and Joseph (Irene) Ridgeway, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Glenn Cadwallader. She will also be greatly missed by her loving companion Junior Rexroad, five nieces, four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davis; two sisters, Ruth Evelyn Ridgeway and Mary Alice Cadwallader; one nephew, Gary Tompkins; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. John Porter officiating and burial to follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
