Noel D. Barney, 77, of Williamsburg, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at the Sunrise Manor in Amelia.
He was born in Highland County on March 4, 1934 the son of the late Moses Steward and Lillie Byrd (Storer) Barney.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Warren Barney; four sisters, Frances O’Bryan, Daisy Wilson, Carolyn Chenoweth and Rosa Lee Wardlow.
He had work for Asplundh Tree Service for 40 years.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy Barney of Williamsburg, and Bill and Amy J. Barney of Sardinia.
