Nettie M. Runyon, 95, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born in Ewing, Ky. on Sept. 16, 1915, the daughter of the late Floyd and Vive Alice (Gulley) Craft.

Nettie loved to play bingo and cards.

She is survived by three sons, Leonard Lee Runyon of Washington C.H., Dick A. Runyon of Hillsboro and Robert E. Runyon of Greenfield; two daughters, Alice K. Henson of Hillsboro and Beverly Mathews of California; one brother, Lawrence Craft of Leesburg; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; special friend Alice Runyon; and good friends Mary and Don Smith of Hillsboro.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Runyon; two sons, Glen E. Runyon and James E. Runyon; three brothers, Fred Craft, Junior Craft and Doug Craft; two sisters, Blanche Hopkins and Bea Sargent; a half brother, Emie Muse; and a half sister, Marge Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home
