Mildred D. Hall, 64, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday afternoon, May 1, 2012 at her residence. 

She was born Oct. 29, 1947 in Ashland, Ky., the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Simpson) Schorman. 

She attended the Northview Baptist Church.  She loved sewing, crocheting, cooking and baking and delighted in caring for her family and neighbors, as well as spending weekends with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by two children, Renee (Robert) Teague and Matthew Hall, both of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Joshua Scott Hall, McKinley Wayne Teague and Emily Alice Teague; a sister, Delores Zimmerman of  Lynchburg, Va.; a niece, Angela (Alfonse) Cestaro of Lynchburg, Va.; a nephew, Andrew Zimmerman of Lakewood, Colo.; her best friend, Judy Gilligan of Buffalo, N.Y.; three great-nieces, Alison, Angelina and Isabella Cestaro; a great-nephew, Antonio Cestaro; two special daughters, Alison Knox and her children Elizabeth, Evan and Madison Knox and Lisa Bailey and her children Timothy and Nyla Bailey; and many friends and neighbors at the Pants Factory. 

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated. 

A memorial service and celebration of Mildred’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Northview Baptist Church. Rev. Kenny Cousar will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Department at Highland District Hospital, 1275 North High Street, Third Floor, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
