Mildred Alice Glenn, 83, of Greenfield, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at Hearth and Care in Greenfield. 

 

She was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Ross County, the daughter of James R. and Hazel I. (Hester) Wisecup. 

 

She was a licensed practical nurse and a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Nursing. She was a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ. 

 

She is survived by one son, Robert V. (Janet) Glenn, Jr., of Hillsboro; one daughter, Jenny (Ronald) Welch of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren, Kerry Mohan, Cory Welch, Scott Welch, Robert Harless Jr., Anthony Harless, Shannon Cross, Randy Ellis, Rhonda Webb; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Bertie) Wisecup of Circleville; one sister, Donna (James) Dailey of Chillicothe; special cousin, Mary Ellen Hurless. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Glenn, Sr., on Dec. 22, 2007; two sisters, Eilene Swonger and Margaret Scott; two brothers, John R. Wisecup and James Fay Wisecup and both parents. 

 

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Pastor Mat Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
