Melinda J. Creech, 56, of Peebles, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
She was born Aug. 21, 1955 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Stanley Russell and Margaret E. (Deck) O'Cull.
On April 14, 1973, she was united in marriage to Lonnie Buck Creech, who survives. She is also survived by one son, Jeremy Russell Creech of Seaman; two daughters, Robin Wolfe of Monroe and Lindsay Taylor Creech at home; four grandchildren, Emilee Creech, Anslee Creech, Brooke Wolfe and Hayley Wolfe; two sisters, Penny (Clifford) Fuson of Franklin and Sharon Fulkerson of Hillsboro; two brothers, Danny (Karen) O'Cull of Hillsboro and Michael O'Cull of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
