Matthew William “Matt” Armintrout, 27, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the St. David’s South Medical in Austin, Texas.

He was born Aug. 6, 1986 in Cincinnati, the son of Bill and Julie A. Walker Armintrout of Hillsboro.

Matt was working in the construction industry in Texas.

He was a 2005 graduate of Hillsboro High School and had been on the school golf team as a junior when they finished second in the state tournament.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Brody William Armintrout of Hillsboro; one brother, Curtis (Emily Kallenborn) Armintrout of Perry, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Bowman of Hillsboro; and his special friend, Morgan Rogers of Austin, Texas.

Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro. Father Mike Paraniuk will officiate.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory.
