Mary M. “Maggie” Dunseith, 88, of Hillsboro, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.

She was born in Boyd County, Ky. on Nov. 18, 1923, the daughter of the late Jason E. and Anna (McFarland) Fields.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Dunseith, who died June 4, 1983; four sons, Richard Dunseith, Jerry Dunseith, Leon Dunseith and Larry Dunseith; one son-in-law, Rocky Smith; two grandchildren, Russell Dunseith and Tim Dunseith; and one great-grandchild, Nathan Woods.

She was a devoted housewife and a member of the Hillsboro First Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Linda Dunseith of Sardinia, Dewey and Carol Dunseith of Greenfield, and Bob and Judy Dunseith of Georgetown; three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Smith of Hillsboro, Judy and Rodney Jones of Hillsboro, and Gail and Dale Woods of Newtonsville; three daughters-in-law Darlene Dunseith of Hillsboro, Brina Dunseith of Lynchburg and Carol Dunseith of Georgetown; one brother, Louis Fields of Temple, Texas; two sisters, Alice Bradley of Hillsboro and Blanche Melblanc of Sardinia; 27 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 4 at the Hillsboro First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Hamilton and Pastor Josh McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
