Mary Louise Barnhart, 79, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 at her home.
She was born July 3, 1932, the daughter of Crosby and Blanche (Colbun) Dennis.
She was a member of St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield. She was retired from Furman's Bar & Grill and Greenfield Lanes, where she served as a cook.
She is survived by two grandsons, Christopher J. (Jennifer Bialleck) Underwood of Washington C.H. and Matthew Underwood of St. Marys, Fla.; one granddaughter, Renee L. Stanley of Washington C.H.; six great-grandchildren, Shantel and Heather Underwood, Dylan, Derrien and Deakon Stanley and Kyla Underwood; six brothers, David (Judy) Dennis of Greenfield, Norman (Patty) Dennis of Washington C.H., Richard (Brenda) Dennis of Sabina, Jimmy (Nancy) Dennis of Sabina, Tommy (Lynn) Dennis of Chillicothe and Pete Dennis of Washington C.H.; two sisters, Phyllis (Norman) Cline of Chillicothe and Bertha Brooks of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Barnhart, on Jan. 8, 2004; one son, Kenneth E. Underwood; one grandson, Jay Underwood; four sisters, Helen Mick, Sue Thomas, Janet Dennis and Dorothy Dennis; and one brother, Bob Dennis.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at St. Benignus Catholic Church, 218 Second St., Greenfield with Father Mike Paraniuk officiating and burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Greenfield.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benignus Catholic Church, 218 Second St., Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
