Mary Helen Miley, 102, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Hearth & Care Rehabilitation and Nursing in Greenfield.
She was born June 2, 1910 in Washington C.H., the daughter of Frank C. and Jessie Mae (Nelson) Reveal.
She was a homemaker, former employee of Greenfield Printing and Publishing, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield and was a member of the Washington C.H. High School class of 1929. She was involved with many clubs including the History Club, Greenfield Historical Society, charter member of the Greenfield Garden Club, Music & Drama Club and past president of the Mother’s Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Carolyn Allen of St. Augustine, Fla.; one son, David M. Miley, Sr., of Greenfield; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion H. Miley, who passed away June 18, 1979; one daughter, Patsy Ann Combs; one grandson, John David Allen; one sister, Irma McCoppin; stepmother, Zella Sanderson Reveal; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial to follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Saturday.
