Martha Jo Pearson, 55, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born Aug. 20, 1956 in Lexington, Ky.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Pearson; five children, Mark (Jennifer) Jarnigan, Matt Pearson and Michael Jarnigan, all of Hillsboro, and Charlie Jarnigan and Bobby Joe Jarnigan of Franklin; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
