Marshall Reese Banks, 22, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012.

He was born in Cincinnati on April 4, 1990, the son of Joseph B. and Denise Rene (Garrison) Banks of Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by one uncle, Jeffery Todd Banks.

Marshall was a Christian young man who attended the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene all his lifetime. He was a 2009 graduate of Whiteoak High School and was a junior at Wright State University. He loved sports, music and loved the game of baseball.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Garrison B. Banks at home; maternal grandparents Vernon A. and Wanda M. Garrison of Hillsboro; paternal grandparents James Kenneth and Della Carol Banks of Hillsboro; aunts and uncles, Theresa (Sid) Raisch of Hillsboro, Kevin (Cheryl) Garrison of Kentucky, Rick (Samantha) Garrison of Washington C.H., Carla Cornett of Kentucky, Gregory (Kimberly Jo) Banks of Kentucky, Remme Banks of Texas, and Gina Lynne Banks of Texas; cousins, Owen, Kevin and Christian Raisch, Katie Jo and Olivia Garrison, Kendall and Carlie Garrison, Evan Cornett, Wyatt, Will, Chelsey, Dillon, Dallas and Sheridan Grace Banks.

Services will be at the convenience of the family Monday, Nov. 26 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro with the Rev. Tom Zile officiating. There will be no visitation.
