Mark L. Hodgson, 54, of Melbourne, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Fla.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1958 in Fairfax, Va., the son of Robert and Margaret (Saults) Hodgson.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly (Cartwright) Hodgson; two daughters, Erin (Jacob) Sleight of Newark, N.Y. and Megan (Brent) Brillantine of Fairfax, Va.; mother, Margaret Hodgson of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Laura (Robert) Johannsen of Denver, N.C. and Susan Sommerfeld and Amy (Tom) Wilcox, both of Newport News, Va.; two brothers, David (Patricia) Hodgson of Olathe, Kan. and Luke (Beth) Hodgson of Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Peter Hodgson, and his father, Robert Hodgson.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Wayne Combs officiating. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 5000 Rockside Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44131.
