Margaret Virginia (Peg) Grandstaff
Margaret Virginia (Peg) Grandstaff, 99, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at her home.
She was born on Sept. 19, 1913 in Pike County, the daughter of Daniel and Verda (Spargur) Cameron.
She was retired from the U.S. Shoe Corp. of Greenfield, was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greenfield. She also was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed playing cards with her many friends in her card club.
She is survived by one sister, Sarah Ralph of Greenfield; a sister-in-law, Lucy Cameron of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful caring neighbors and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Grandstaff on Sept. 14, 1969; three brothers, Richard, William and Thomas Cameron; one sister, Helen Anderson; and both parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. James Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
