Margaret L. “Tommi” Wilcox, 94 years of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
She was born Feb. 21, 1917 in Austin, W.Va., the daughter of the late William H. and Emma K. (Adams) Mitter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Wilcox, on Nov. 23, 1987; one son, Richard Wilcox; and 10 brothers and sisters.
She was a former member of the Hillsboro Emblem Club #227.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Wilcox of Chambersburg, Pa. and Michael Wilcox of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Burial will be held in the Park Lawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Chambersburg, Pa. at the convenience of the family.
She requested memorials to the Hillsboro Emblem Club #227 Scholarship Fund.
