Marcel "Tootie" Cornetet, 89, of the Fincastle community, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at Eastgate Spring.
She was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Mowrystown, the daughter of the late Arthur Blair Cornetet and Ruth Borden Cornetet.
She was a member of Macon Church of Christ.
She is survived by two nieces, Carol Sue (Don) Newman of Hamilton and Sondra Kay Stratton of Sardinia; one nephew, Ron Stratton of Mt. Sterling; one great-niece; and three great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Tootie was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Stratton and Donna L. Hall; two brothers, William Otis Cornetet and Howard Blair Cornetet; and two nephews, Danny and Darin Hall.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 with Pastor Jerry Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery, Mowrystown, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday, 4-7 p.m.
