Mack Donahue, 88, of Bourneville died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort.

He was born Aug. 10, 1925 in Ross County, the son of the late Albert M. and Ruth Burke Donahue.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marcella R. Kellough Donahue, whom he married March 8, 1944. He is also survived by three children, James A. Donahue, Sr. (Cathy Daugherty) of Bainbridge, Janette Blanton (Tim Carl) of Bourneville and Richard M. (Julie) Donahue of Sparta, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jo Kerns of
Chillicothe; and his church family and friends.

In addition to his parents Mack was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rod Blanton.

Mack was a 40-year member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ and he was a retired post master who loved to work on the farm.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for all they did for Mack during his illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the Donahue family on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
