Loree Tumbleson

Loree Tumbleson, 85, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
She was born in Adams County on Sept. 28, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Una (Simmons) Wylie.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse William Tumbleson, who died on Dec. 22, 1995; one brother, Howard Wylie; and two sisters, Velma West and Mary Baldwin.
Loree was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, worked at G.C. Murphy’s for 13 years and was a private home caregiver for many years.
She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and Duane Michael of Hillsboro and Wandalee and Eddie Moore of Winchester; six nieces, Kay (John) Naylor, Wanda (Marion) Foster, Marie Hopkins, Wahnita (Bill) Anderson, Mernita Crawford and Patty (John) Crawford; seven nephews, Ervin (Margaret) West, Charles (Nancy) Baldwin, Marvin (Patty) Baldwin, Phillip Baldwin, Richard Burgess, Wayne (Kim) Burgess and James Michael; and a host of friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. John Porter will officiate with burial to follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday, July 23 from 5-8 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
