Lora L. Chain, 47, of Greenfield, died on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield.
She was born on July 23, 1964 in Greenfield, the daughter of Larry "Butch" and Nancy Howland Chain.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy McCoy of Greenfield; one daughter, Brittany (Brandon) Harvey of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Macinzey, Payton and Jillian Harvey; two sisters, Sherry Knisley and Patricia Whaley of Greenfield; one brother, David Chain of Greenfield; her aunt, Patty Fent of Greenfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and one son, Brandon Lee Lemons.
She was a Christian and looked forward to the visits by the ministers at the nursing home.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield, where a VFW service will be held at 7:30 p.m. and the Rev. Wayne Combs will conclude the evening service. Cremation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to a fund that has been set up at the Greenfield Fifth-Third Bank to help the family with expenses.
