Lois A. Goble

Lois A. Goble, 71, of New Vienna, passed away early Monday morning, Nov. 3, 2014 at The Laurels of Blanchester surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 16, 1943, in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ocie (Murphy) Shinkle.
She was a member of the Beechgrove Free Will Baptist Church.
On Dec. 10, 1960, in Hillsboro, she married her husband of 53 years, James Goble, and he survives.
She is also survived by four children, Donna (Greg Allen) Guzman of Wilmington, Angela George of New Vienna, Carole (Richard) Gross of New Vienna and James (Becky) Goble of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Brandon (Lauri) James, Andrew James, Dustin James, Tanner George, Dylan Page, Levi Goble and Joshua Goble; and two sisters, Mabel Gulick and Martha Goble, both of Hillsboro, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Page; a sister, Delores Rhoades; and three brothers, Charlie, Chester and Ronnie Shinkle.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Wiley Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church.
