Lois Bumgardner, 53, of Peebles, died Wednesday at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.
She was born April 4, 1958 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Gene and Margaret (McRoberts) Knapp.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Chuck Purtee of Bainbridge; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Tiffany Bumgardner, Jr. of Peebles; six grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsay, Bailey, Randy and Kadene Bumgardner and Cody Purtee; one brother Ronnie Knapp of Peebles; two sisters, Laura Heinrich of Dayton and Iona Smith of Peebles; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Randy Bumgardner; one granddaughter, Leslie Bumgardner; and one brother, Ralph Knapp.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Rev. Jeff May will officiate with burial to follow in the New Fain Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
