Lisa Yankie, née Hensley, 50, of Buford, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 8, 1960 in Georgetown, the daughter of Lyman Hensley and Patricia Sue Brown Hensley.
She was a member and graduate of the Lynchburg-Clay High School Class of 1978.
Survivors include her brother, Charles (Betty) Hensley; four nieces, Christina Hensley, Kayla Hensley, Bailey Hensley and Angie Bolender; two nephews, Todd Schmese and Zachary Eyre; a brother-in-law, Bob Eyre, seven great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Chuck Jones.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman Hensley, Patricia Sue and James Harris; one brother, Richard Hensley; and one sister, Cindy Eyre.
Services will be held at Concord Church of God, 3224 Twin Bridges Road, Williamsburg, Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. with Pastor James Reeder officiating. Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery, Buford, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the church Friday, September 2, 2011 noon - 1 p.m.
