Linda S. Lengefeld, 53, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her residence in Hillsboro.

She was born Jan. 15, 1960, in Georgetown, the daughter of Frank I. Wilson and Lozella S. Williams Wilson.

Linda was a registered nurse, having graduated in 2009 from Southern State Community College. She was also the former director of the Highland County Homeless Shelter and was an alcohol and drug counselor.

Surviving is her son, Christopher (Casey) Lengefeld of Hillsboro; daughter, Melissia (Fritz) Lunas of Yellow Springs; three grandchildren, Alexandra Cleveland, Breanna Lengefeld and Jaden Lengefeld; her parents, Frank and LozellaWilson of Hillsboro; one brother, Gary (Samantha) Wilson of Hillsboro; and her former husband, Michael Lengefeld of Hillsboro.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, March 19 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jeff Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, near Taylorsville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, March 18 from 5-7 p.m.
