Linda H. Meddock, 63, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born Oct. 31, 1948 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Guy and Mary (McChesney) Meddock.
Linda was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Janet Meddock; two nephews, Mark Meddock and James Lynch; and three great nieces, Rachel Lynch and twin sisters Megan and Molly Moore-Lynch.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Chuck Lynch of New Richmond; two brothers and sister-in-law, Loren and Cheryl Meddock of Leesburg and Wayne Meddock of Scottsdale, Ariz.; aunt Geneva McChesney of Waynesville.; seven nephews; two nieces; several great nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at the Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Prospect United Methodist Church.
The Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
