Linda Louise Pitman, 65, of Greenfield, passed peacefully, Monday, July 2, 2012 at her home.

She was born Dec. 23, 1946 in Ross County, the daughter of Melvin and Opal (Everhart) Copas.

She worked at Johnson Controls in Greenfield for 32 years and Quick Stoppe Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Pitman; her children, Kenny (Wayne)-Joyce Jenkins of Hillsboro, Robert (Melissa) Jenkins of Greenfield and Tammy (Clarence) Jenkins-Pettiford of Frankfort; stepchildren, Tim (Angie) Pitman of Westerville, Brad (Candy) Pitman of Dublin, Sherry McClowski of Marysville and Cristi (Recash) Parikh of Chicago; 17 grandchildren; one very special grandchild, Teeka Jenkins; 13 great-grandchildren; several wonderful neighbors; one brother, Bob Copas of Greenfield; and one aunt, Jean Risner of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, one great-granddaughter and both parents.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 with Rev. Rob Hitchens officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
