Linda L. Stump

Linda L. Stump, 70, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 11, 2011 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.  



She was born March 31, 1941 in Marfork, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ray D. and Agnes L. (Richards) Barker. On Dec. 17, 1960 in Sabina, Linda married Joseph Stump, who preceded her in death on March 31, 1999.

 

She was a member of Louden Church. 



Surviving are her three daughters, Sonia (Tim) Truman, Jo Ann Stump and Tina Bene, all of Hillsboro; a grandson, Joseph Wilson; five special grandchildren, Emmy Hawkins, Jonathon Hart, Kade Cosbie, Amara Corsbie and Trevor Hart; a brother, Kenneth (Joanne) Barker of Chicago, Ill.; and a sister, Sheila (Gene) Campbell of Williamsburg, Va. 



In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Barker. 



Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 East Main Street, Mowrystown. Interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek. 

Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011 from 5-8 p.m.

Contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Edgington Funeral Home, 17 East Main Street, P.O. Box 29, Mowrystown, Ohio 45155, to help the family with funeral expenses.
